Group Therapy is a unique treatment model that combines mental health counseling with peer support, allowing therapeutic healing to occur through connection and community.
At Renewed Resilience, we offer a series of thoughtfully designed online therapy groups aimed to provide a healthy and supportive environment for teens and adults to navigate challenging emotions and experiences.
With the guidance of a licensed trauma-focused therapist, you will to share your experiences, learn new ways of navigating life’s anxieties, and gain meaningful connections.

Befriend Your Inner Critic
Does it feel like no matter how much you accomplish, you are never enough? You replay conversations long after they're over, second-guess every decision you make, and brace yourself for criticism before anyone's even said a word. On paper, you are successful, responsible, and reliable, but inside, you just don’t feel good enough. That inner voice got loud trying to keep you safe from disappointing people, failing, or being seen as anything less than capable. The good news is, that voice doesn’t have to run the show.
Befriend Your Inner Critic is a 6-week group where you'll learn to understand that critical voice, quiet it down, and start to actually like and love yourself.
In this group, you will:
Identify where your inner critic came from and what it's been trying to protect you from
Learn to navigate perfectionism, people-pleasing, and the pressure to always have it together
Increase your ability to sit with hard emotions such as shame, resentment, and burnout without shutting down
Loosen guilt's grip on your decisions, your boundaries, and your "no"
Rebuild a sense of self-worth that isn't tied to performance or other people's approval
Therapeutic Approach: Grounded in the principles of Internal Family Systems. You'll engage in parts work supported with guided discussion and skill-building activities.
Designed For: Young Adults, ages 22-29 who struggle with perfectionism, people-pleasing, or a persistent feeling that they're failing at life.

The Knots of Life
For young adults who process better when their hands are busy
Life in your twenties can feel like one giant knot; tangled with questions about who you are, where you're going, and whether you're doing it right. The Knots of Life uses the meditative, hands-on practice of crocheting as a doorway into real conversation about the stressors of young adult life. You'll leave each session with a project in progress and a little bit more clarity than you came in with.
In this group, you will:
Use crocheting as a grounding tool to help you stay present during difficult conversations
Process real stressors of young adulthood including: identity, relationships, career pressure, loneliness, and change
Build emotional coping skills in a low-pressure, creative environment
Connect authentically with peers who share similar experiences
Walk away each week with both a tangible creation and something new and meaningful to reflect on
Therapeutic Approach: A blend of expressive arts, mindfulness, and peer-supported processing lead by a licensed therapist.
Designed for: Young adults, ages 20–26, navigating life transitions who are ready to slow down and finally make sense of it all.

Unmasking Autism
For late diagnosed adults who are ready to drop the mask and live authentically and shamelessly.
So you’ve just been diagnosed with Autism and suddenly your entire life makes sense. The constant overstimulation, the overwhelming emotions, the quiet ache of not quite relating to your peers, and the confusion around how to actually be “normal,” all finally have an explanation….Now what?
In this group, you will:
Build an understanding of what Autism is, and what it means to be on the spectrum.
Learn how to recognize and manage Autistic Burnout, and develop tools to prevent emotional shutdowns.
Unlearn masking behaviors and connect with your authentic self at home, work, and in social settings.
Practice new communication skills in the with peers who are on the journey of unmasking with you.
Therapeutic Approach: This group combines psychoeducation and the principles of Internal Family Systems to help you learn how your mind works and develop a more compassionate relationship with yourself.
Designed for: High Functioning Adults with Autism in their 20s & 30s

Befriend Your Inner Critic - Teen Edition
Does your teen struggle with that nagging inner voice that is constantly telling them that they are not smart enough, that they don’t fit in, or that they can’t do anything right? Nothing you do or say helps them feel better, and they continue to feel defeated, overwhelmed, and unhappy with themselves. That voice got too loud in effort to protect them from all of the stressors they face as they grow up. The good news is, that voice doesn’t have be so overbearing forever.
Befriend Your Inner Critic - Teen Edition is a 6-week group where your teen will learn to understand that critical voice, quiet it down, and start to actually like who they are.
In this group, your teen will:
Figure out where that critical voice came from and why it showed up
Learn how to handle big feelings like anger, shame, and sadness without shutting down
Learn tools to manage anxiety and the pressure of everyday life
Stop letting guilt and shame make decisions for them
Start building self-esteem and confidence
Therapeutic Approach: Grounded in the principles of Internal Family Systems. Your teen will engage in parts work supported with guided discussion, and skill building activities.
Designed For: Teens, ages 13–15, who struggle with self-doubt, perfectionism, anxiety, or feeling like they can never measure up.

At Renewed Resilience groups sizes are usually limited to 4-8 group members. We keep groups small to foster increased connection and to allow everyone enough time and space to share their experiences and get their questions answered.

Getting started is simple. Click the link below to complete the online consultation form, letting us know which group you. are interested in joining. A member of our admin team will contact you to complete the intake forms and get you booked for an intake session. After this, you will join your group and start healing.

Yes. We conduct intakes for all groups to understand each person's background and needs before they join in.
Think of it as an orientation to the group. It will support building a therapeutic rapport with your therapist. And, it will help them to better facilitate group cohesion and to provide an experience that is beneficial and tailored to all group members.

That depends. Some groups are closed and do not allow late enrollments. This is because the groups are structured and follow a curriculum that should be completed in order.
Open groups are more flexible and allow for clients to join in at anytime.

Group therapy sessions typically cost between $30-65 out of pocket, however, most of our therapists accept insurance which can be used to cover the cost of each group session. Please check our FEES page for more information.

Absolutely! Group therapy is an excellent treatment companion to one-on-one therapy. You are welcome to explore our therapist directory to find a match for your individual needs.
