My name is Kenna, and I'm a Master of Social Work intern at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. I earned my BS in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice at Appalachian State University. I am passionate about trauma therapy, mental health, and social work advocacy. I am undergoing supervised training to utilize my social work skills with clients in the future. I believe that every person should be able to express themselves and be who they are, especially in therapy. Creating a positive and uplifting environment is very important to me! In my spare time, you can find me at a local record store or cuddled up on the couch with my cats and a good book.
