“There is a beautiful life waiting for you after surviving religious trauma.”

Do you feel plagued by anxiety and quirky habits that you have to complete in exact order before you do anything else? You can’t relax until you’ve unlocked and re-locked the door exactly three times. You can’t sleep unless you’ve checked every corner of the house and said a prayer to make sure everyone is safe. Or maybe you can’t stop replaying sermons and thoughts that you’ve made a moral mistake in your head. This can be overwhelming, but you don’t have to face it alone.

I understand what it feels like to feel like my brain has been hijacked with anxious thoughts triggered by harmful religious indoctrination. I am passionate about helping adults impacted by religious trauma to break free from the beliefs that have stained their self-perception, leaving them to obsess over pleasing a deity, rather than than experiencing the pleasure that life has to offer.

My work is centered around holistic, trauma-informed care. therapy with me will be a safe space for you to unpack religious trauma, heal OCD and rewrite your story to be what you want it to be.

Outside of therapy…
